What a charming home! This house was a great respite for us during a long road trip. Very clean, well equipped, great communication! Great launching pad for Mesa Verde, 4 Corners.
Jessica is a super host and attentive to any need!! We arrived at this beautiful home with warm cookies and apples ready for our enjoyment! The view from the kitchen window was an amazing mountain top view that stretched beyond a freshly plowed field. We will definitely recommend this beautiful, peaceful home to anyone!
We absolutely loved staying at this wonderful house on our road trip! The location was secluded but awesome. The stars at night and the sunsets were gorgeous. Cortez was a perfect spot to go out on day adventures and come back to spend evenings at the house.
The house was very well equipped with everything we needed. The rooms and furnishings were perfect. My kids (aged 6 and 7) loved their room with all the kid toys. This house is perfectly equipped for families. Spending time there was a highlight of our trip!

The home was cute and spacious. It was nice to have two bathrooms with the number of people we had in our group. We didn't have access to any cleaning supplies so we weren't able to sweep or clean up during our stay. We had to purchase toilet paper for fear of running out as we were only provided one extra roll. There was spoiled milk in the fridge and food in the drain from the previous guests upon our arrival. Overall the place was nice and comfortable, we just didn't have some of the things we needed that we thought would be a part of the stay (i.e. toilet paper, cleaning supplies, etc.). We left a day early rather than have to run to the store again.
Wow! This house is beautiful and there was plenty of room for the 4 of us. The bathroom in the master bedroom is huge and the shower made us feel like we were at a spa! The house was also close proximity to family. The owner Jessica was very responsive to our questions and needs. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!
We loved the "end of the road" experience with gorgeous dark skies. The Milky Way showed from horizon to horizon with a few meteors. Loved the smell of juniper, sage and pinyon pine. Plan on bringing groceries as Cortez is at least 20 minutes away. The hosts were communicative and friendly.
This place was perfect for a quiet relaxing stay. The beds were comfortable and the house was darling. It did have some areas that were quite dirty when we arrived. The kitchen counters and other kitchen spaces and some floors/rugs had crumbs and remaining food left behind. We felt like we needed to wipe everything down before we got settled. The location was perfect if you're looking for a place away from everything. Beautiful night sky! But it did take us longer to get to some of the places we visited than we anticipated.
This home is new and modern and so very comfortable. There are 6 of us, and we all enjoyed our stay. The home is in the countryside outside of town, surrounded by Mountain View’s. So quiet and peaceful. Just a 4 minute drive to Sand Canyon trail head, which was a great hike with beautiful views. Our kids played corn hole and we each enjoyed the huge master shower. 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths, AC, and everything you need in the kitchen. The home is very clean and in excellent shape. The host was responsive and helpful. I would absolutely stay there again.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It’s located about 20 minutes from downtown Cortez, which meant we were close enough to shops and restaurants but far enough away to soak up its peaceful and quiet setting. The house comfortably fits 5-6 people, and we were pleased with the size of the bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and living space. The rooms were clean and well-stocked with plenty of linens, toiletries, and gadgets. The owner shared clear directions and check-in instructions for us. She even left the lights on in anticipation of our late arrival. If we ever find ourselves back in Cortez, we would certainly book this property again. Thanks for a great stay!
