We booked at Red Roof InnCortland because they were pet friendly. When we got there , they had overbooked and had moved us to their extended stay which was next door. I was anxious because we had our dog with us , but the staff assured us it was no problem. They were helpful with other issues too , calm and “ it’s no problem “. The room was very clean and quiet. And I slept like a log . Very impressed

I arrived late in the evening and had to wait for someone to come to the office after ringing the bell twice. Attendant came out and checked us in, never told us where the room was or where to find the ice machine. Came back to the office to ask about location of the ice machine and rang the bell but nobody answered the doorbell. Went to the store and purchased cold drinks instead. No coffee was made in the morning and nobody was at the desk to ask. Rang the bell again and saw nothing. Not the best experience but the Dunkin is across the street so it worked out. No issues with the room, shower was hot, bed was comfortable and we slept well. Price of the room was a little higher than what I thought it should be for what I received. I come through the area on occasion and not sure if I would stay there again for the price. Overall the room was very nice.

A/C was icy cold, but that’s a plus given that we were in the last throes of a major heat wave. The premises looked to be from the late ‘70s to early ‘80s and are showing it. Given that, a solid and more than tolerable one-night stay over.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Check in and check out were easy. The room was clean, the AC worked well, and the beds were decently comfortable. The bathroom was outdated and the shower head needed replaced, but this was a fine place to stay last minute.

Easy parking right at hotel, staff was wonderful, clean for what we paid. For a place to sleep, this place works just fine, was it immaculate and extremely well kept? No, but for the price it was a great spot to stop for the night. Pillows were awful though, so bring your own.

The room was very dingy but also dirty (found bed bugs on the mattress) however their staff was super friendly and accommodating after the discovery, which we greatly appreciated and our concerns were addressed immediately.

Clean room and bathroom. Tub needs to be replaced; it’s got lots of stains. Lots of pillows and comfortable bed. Needs another nightstand. Electric outlets on the nightstand stand don’t work very well. They are very loose so getting a constant connection is difficult.
