Wonderful views and location! Franco is #1 Host
We enjoyed another wonderful stay here and made more happy memories. Our first visit was in 2018. Franco is a great host. Very attentive and helpful. The wine, fruit, water, etc was most appreciated. The views are breathtaking from the house and the patio is a great place to enjoy a glass of wine. The house is walking distance to the entrance of the walled city of Cortona.

Cortona Gate
Tranquil place with beautiful views of the area just outside the walls of Cortona. We stayed for 2 weeks and the house was a peaceful place to return to after busy days of touring Tuscany. Everything we needed was provided. It is a nice walk into Cortona and we enjoyed the walk. Franco was a great host and left us fresh fruit, wine, water and juice when we arrived. He recommended restaurants and shops in Cortona which we went to. The museum was excellent-another of his recommendations. Thank you Franco-we appreciated your recommendations and your place.

Beautiful little house with amazing views
Perfect base for us to enjoy Cortona and all the beautiful towns and cities in Tuscany. We found Franco so kind and welcoming with lots of recommendations for seeing the area. The views watching the sunset from the balcony were just stunning. Great memories, Would definitely recommend.

Incredible Host & House
My wife and I loved staying at this property! It had incredible views and was perfect for us. It was an easy walk to the city entrance and because it was located outside it was very quite where we were. We will be staying here again if given the chance! Franco was also a very gracious host and helped us in so many ways during out stay.

Perfect town, Perfect house, Perfect host!
Cortona is a magical place, and Franco’s house is perfect for enjoying all Cortona has to offer. Picturesque views from both terraces, even the kitchen window. Sunsets are a nightly treat...gorgeous! The house has everything you need to be comfortable and is a 5 minute walk to the town entrance. Franco picked me up from the train station and gave me a tour which included Bramasole and the monastery. Unexpected and wonderful! He even met me at the train station when I left, where he and his lovely wife joined me for a cup of coffee. Words cannot express how grateful I am for the welcome and the send-off. I stayed at Franco’s for 12 nights, and am counting the days till I can come back. Thank you, dear Franco, for taking such good care of all your guests!

Cortona Visit 2017
This is one of those places you don't want anyone to know about fearing that it will be booked next time you want to go there. Franco's place is outstanding. The bedroom is large enough for two people with plenty of storage space. The bed was very comfortable.There is a door to an outside terrace where you can sit with a glass of wine and look out over the valley. What a view. The kitchen is well equipped and there was coffee, milk, juice, and croissants waiting for us. We didn't cook there but there were plenty of pots and pans and utensils. The bathroom and shower were very good. It is in a very quiet location. The town of Cortona is a short walk away, maybe 3-5 minutes. Outside the front door is another terrace with four chairs and a table with a great view. Franco was very helpful regarding what to do in the area. We would have liked to have an iron or maybe we didn't find it. We wish we could have stayed longer.

La Casina Rossa
Great view, not far from the old town of Cortona. The two rooms give you enough place to give you a pleasant stay (especially during a heat period outside, the airconditioning works well). The only downside is the nearby street with some traffic. On the other hand I could blend it out quite good after some days. Il Signor Rossi was so kind to bring me to the house with his car by arrival and brought me back to the trainstation upon departure at the end! Generally a recommendation!
