"Alberico's house is simply enchanting and so is the hamlet of Ponzanello. You really feel like you're stepping back in time (except you have access to all the modern amenities which is great)! The location is perfect if you have a car, about a hour drive to Cinque Terre, plenty of vineyards and other medieval villages to visit in the surroundings."

"The apartment is very clean and appears to have been very recently updated as everything appears new. The check in process could not be easier. Parking and driving take some getting used to for Americans, but you do and it is well worth it. The views from the rooms and the patio are spectacular. We found it extraordinarily quiet at night. The room is situated above a restaurant, so it can get a bit noisy, but we’re the kind of people who can sleep through anything.
