"We lucked out and received a bigger room than we had paid for. Well equipped apartment although the sofa's weren't very comfortable. Location is good ... across from the beach. The walk downtown takes about 20 minutes ... the road is narrow so you have to pay attention to the traffic as you walk. Pool was nice. Breakfasts were good. There is a ping pong table. Staff is friendly and helpful. Didn't use the spa. Nice big porch attached to the room but couldn't use it as much as we would have liked because of the mosquitos. Lots of friendly cats on the hotel grounds ... we adopted one for the week... a real sweet heart!"

"Everything about this stay was excellent, save one key thing: the beds and pillows were rather uncomfortable. Not something that could be addressed immediately by bothering the staff, but something we found ourselves lamenting throughout the days after sleeping on them. Literally everything else was a dream. "Simply amazing! The check-in staff was great and very helpful, the room was very clean, the bathroom was very clean and spacious. In front of the beach. The hotel has a restaurant and the food was excellent. We had a wonderful weekend and would definitely stay here again. "

"We loved our stay. We were in the large round building with the king bed. It is not on the beach, but the property is quite small so that was not a problem. I loved all of the space. The onsite restaurant is fantastic, but they sometimes (often!) run out of flour for the pizzas. The beach, I think may be my favorite of all time and I travel! It is so long. We never did get around to walking as far as we could go to the left, which would be west, but did go that way a bit. But we did walk to the east or right, and we were able to make it all the way to Playa Bonita in the town of Las Terrenas! Bring water, we were so dehydrated by the time we got back, but so fun to be able to walk that far. And! There were waves for body surfing, or renting a surf board or boogie board. Can't recommend enough!"
