"We had a wonderful stay with pleasant staff, breakfast across the street, close to shopping and places to see. A few things need upgrading such as door knobs, the safe needs a digital upgrade, the toilet leaks at the back pipe. We were right on the ocean and that is a bonus. Thank you."

"Had a nice stay at Hotel Sarabi. Did not know that there was not an ATM in Barra, or that the hotel did not accept credit cards (should've read the fine print closer!). But the Hotel Staff were very accommodating and willing to give us some time to get the cash to pay for the room. Was able to communicate alright with my basic Spanish, but the folks at the hotel did not seem to know much English (so a heads up if you do not speak Spanish, be ready to use a translator app or something). The room was simple and fairly minimal as far as luxuries go, but it had everything we needed. Was a nice place to come back to after a day out and about. Great value for the price and a very convenient location. Would definitely stay here again if I come back to Barra."

"The young woman managing the property is super friendly and efficient. Our apartment was clean, kitchen well stocked for simple meals, everything comfortable except the pillows. The rooftop terrace is a nice place to relax and enjoy some shade and breeze. Restaurants, beach, music within walking distance. Super safe and quiet area."
