"The hotel is a quintessential representation of an English countryside manor. Grounds are gorgeous, we loved our huge room and the pretty, old school bathroom, and the breakfast was high quality and delicious."
"Very thoughtfully prepared cozy space. We enjoyed staying there with our two daughters. The o communication was excellent and check in and out very seamless. Location is superb if desiring to stay in Burton in the water. Beautiful, quaint town. Only complaint was lack of cooling. Luckily able to cool off at night with windows open. We really enjoyed our stay. "
"Lovely property just a short walk into the centre of Bourton on the water, though beware there is a very steep hill to climb when walking back. Very spacious. Lounge and open plan kitchen could do with a bit of an update.
Fabulous views across the country side and so many different species of birds to view from the very large window in the lounge. Owners very kindly left binoculars and a bird book.
Extremely quiet setting. Stayed Friday to Monday and it was a really lovely break. "

Characterful 16th Century Cottage, off street parking, 2 Min Walk to Village!
10/10 Excellent
"We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful 16th-century cottage. The property is full of character and charm, with many original features that really add to the atmosphere, yet it’s been thoughtfully updated to ensure modern comfort. The cottage was spotlessly clean on arrival, and the beds were extremely comfortable — we slept very well. The shower was excellent, with great water pressure and plenty of hot water. While the bath was a little high, it’s a minor point and didn’t detract from the overall comfort. The location is fantastic — peaceful yet convenient — and we really appreciated the off-street parking. One of the highlights was the lovely cream tea waiting for us when we arrived. It was such a thoughtful and welcoming touch from the hosts.Overall, a delightful place to stay, blending historic charm with modern convenience. We would absolutely return!"
"Incredibly friendly staff, both front of house and breakfast service team.
Location was perfect, the included car park was worth its weight in gold and lovely breakfast"
"Beautiful property in a beautiful setting. The front desk staff (particularly Vickie) went above and beyond in helping to sort out transportation options when our rental car broke down!"
