"We only stayed one night, so it worked well for us. The home itself was very comfortable and nicely decorated. The kitchen and bathrooms had anything you would need. The neighborhood seemed to be very nice also, but the yard area was not very inviting for sitting outside, although I do want to say that it appears the owners are in the process of making it more accommodating."

"Beautiful, quirky home that was spotlessly clean and perfectly situated. The neighborhood was quaint but well-kept and walkable. The house was well appointed and perfect for our group of 6 adults and 3 children. As it is a newer rental property, it doesn’t have the usual collection of sundry spices and pantry items left by previous guests so bring all cooking ingredients. The Pac-Man game in the basement was a big hit with the children. I can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed the house....

"Very clean, well-stocked with amenities, comfortable cottage and neighborhood, with easy access to shopping. Both Sunfish Lake Park and Lake Elmo Park Preserve are convenient by car or bike. We traveled with a pet, and close access to trails was a plus. We had a great experience!!"

"We originally planned on staying 2 nights but loved the change of pace from city living so much we ended up extending our stay. Surrounded by a chorus of bird songs all day, lush greenery, hardly any traffic on the road in front of the house, we felt the stress melting away. "Our stay was very pleasant. Outside of a lock issue which was resolved in a timely manner, there were no issues. The cottage was well equipped and very clean. The local Macalester College area was a good place to be based. The indoor space was great. I would say the back yard area could have been better and we didn’t end up using it. Overall a good experience. I would stay there again when in Minneapolis/St Paul."
