My stay here was too brief! I would return to tour all the gardens and enjoy the lounge and restaurant. The room was cozy and had a beautiful view of the property with its own porch to sit and relax. An overall happy experience for me and my dog!

Super convenient as it's right off the I-5, this place had a mellow, cozy vibe that permeated the hotel. The fact that every room has it's own secured back porch is highly appreciated too. Only problem was that the vertical surface areas like doors and other areas were not as clean as they could be. I would reccomend this place to anyone in need of a quiet and unpretentious room that will remind you of your mothers home.

The place was so outdated. The furniture was sticky. It was noisy I couldn’t sleep and the service was not good. The ladies behind the counter had no sense of urgency taking their time in the office without acknowledging you and no effort to to help.

Shower curtain was moldy. Top sheet on bed had large grease marks on it. Lights were burned out. Restaurant very short staffed and therefore slow. Quaint but rundown. Could really be a nice place if cleaned up. Lovely gardens and nice event facilities.

Decent, but rooms need maintenance.

The grounds were very nice and the staff friendly and helpful. The condition of the room however had some big flaws. First the tub drained so slowly that I was in ankle deep water by the end of my shower. When I lifted my towel off the rack, it came loose from the wall - the left hand bracket was not properly attached. Finally, the room had an unpleasant odor. It's the smell of old plastic and is similar to the smell of body odor. It was coming from the toilet seat, which was obviously old as it was discolored. I could easily hear the neighbors talking and showering in the morning. The bed was comfortable, but I am afraid that I could not recommend the Village Green as a good place to spend an overnight.

Best Place in Cottage Grove

We had a very enjoyable time. There to visit grandchildren, and of course their parents. Just heard they were selling and would be torn down. Very sad to hear that. This is by far the best place in Cottage Grove to stay.

This is a special hotel, set in beautiful gardens. Our room, like many had a private garden patio. Rooms are well maintained and comfortable. There is a good restaurant and lounge on site (closed Tuesdays). We find this one of the best stops on I5.
