The Ford House

Located one block from Old Town Main Street

This is the most romantic and elegant historically home in
Old Town Cottonwood. It is a duplex with Model A being in front.

This historic house, built in 1925 was recently remodeled
from top to bottom. Enjoy a charming old home but with
modern, luxurious amenities. The hardwood floors have
been brought back to their original beauty. The historically
decorated accents compliment the 1920's era.
The Bedroom has a king size bed with all the amenities of a
luxury boutique hotel. Spa quality Pima cotton sheets.

Bathroom have a walk in shower with two shower
heads and a stained glass window niche and
robes and toiletries will make you feel pampered.

The living room has a 58" Smart TV, 200 mg Wifi and
a romantic old fashioned fireplace for those cozy evenings.

A fully furnished kitchen has new retro-style appliances and
everything that you could need including a Keurig coffee maker.



There is free off street parking, a large front porch with
swing and mature shady trees.


A laundry room is available including an iron and full size
ironing board.

Just a short two minute walk to Old Town to enjoy gourmet
fine dining, wine tasting, live music and shopping.

Experience the old time Smelter town life but with a modern
flair.

Just a short 6 mile drive up to Jerome, the mining town built
on a mountain that started it all.

The beauty of Sedona and red rock is a short 20 mile drive.

Wonderful time in Cottonwood

Enjoyed our stay in Cottonwood and the house was very nice. Perfect for a couple looking to get away and enjoy the entire Sedona area. Excellent restaurants, hiking, and touristy stuff.

Great little home

Great remodel on an old home near old town Cottonwood. Very neat and clean in a quiet neighborhood with a really short walk to old town. We definitely recommend it's really worth it.

Ultimate Wine Tasting Location

This was the perfect house for my daughter and I to stay at while wine tasting for her birthday. We loved the history of the home and the ease of walking everywhere. Would definitely stay here again!

Phenomenal Stay for a train ride!

We stayed here with the property owners for the second time this year. This entire property is so well-kept and managed! We forgot an item and contacted the owners. For a nominal fee, we were able to recover our forgotten items! Thank you for a wonderful stay! and a great place to stay to go on the Verde Canyon Train!

Wonderful time

My husband and I stayed here and had an excellent stay! Steve and Denise are great hosts, friendly, and it is clear they love their place! We were walking distance to amazing restaurants as well as the verde river and trails. The home was clean and cozy. Bed was very comfortable and there was everything we needed in the home. We will absolutley return!

It was the cutest little house and we could walk to everything. A great place to stay to not be in the hustle and bustle of Sedona. You could easily drive there, but stay out of the crowds. Would rent again. Love, love, loved it!

Beautiful Historic House!

The house is a beautiful historic house, only two blocks from Downtown Cottonwood. The house was very clean and comfortable. It is conveniently located just a short distance from downtown, wineries, Sedona and Jerome. We truly enjoyed everything about the stay. We will return as our experience was VERY memorable! Thanks!

2024 Girls Trip

We have been friends since elementary/junior high school (over 40 years of friendship!) We pick a new destination ever other year and this year was Cottonwood. We absolutely loved The Ford House - the history, the amazing accommodations, and the short walk downtown. We highly recommend this property.

Clean, cozy cottage

Wonderful. Thoughtfully appointed with everything you need, from paper towels to umbrellas in a stand by the front door. We found ourselves repeatedly saying, “Look, they even thought of this!” Immediately welcoming when you enter, with two huge bedrooms and bathrooms.

Cottonwood Gem

My wife and I spent the weekend at the Ford house. It's been our favorite VRBO. Excellent location and charm. Only 1 block from Main Street with all the cool shops, restaurants and bars. Great walking trail to the Verde river. Steve and Denise remodeled this home with impeccable taste and attention to detail. Bed is very comfortable, bathroom is fantastic, the couch is super comfortable, etc. We highly recommend staying in this home to experience that old town charm and comfort that is not easy to find nowadays.

Home away from home

Our hosts were very helpful and went above and beyond. We had a wonderful stay at this comfortable and beautifully appointed 1920s house and property. Great location, with walking distance to main street. Everything was provided to feel right at home. Beds and furniture were very comfortable. The bathrooms and kitchen were lovely. It was like going back in time. We didn't want to leave! We will definitely be back.

Clean, interesting house

The house was very clean upon arrival. The renovation of this historical home is amazing. The first thing noticed was the beautiful hardwood floors. The owners provide a wealth of information about the history of the house and the surrounding property. If we return to Cottonwood in the future we will book this home again.

Cute Stay w/ Lots of Character

We loved this little house, its super cute and had everything we needed for a weekend stay. We were celebrating our anniversary and it was perfect for what we were looking for. It was also super close to downtown Cottonwood, literally steps away to restaurants and wineries. Communication with the owners was great, too (although we didn't need much). The only thing that we noticed was a strange smell, on occasion in the bedroom. We think it might have been associated with the air conditioner as we only noticed every once in awhile or maybe the outside garbage can was nearby. It didn't take away from our experience, just something we noticed. I would definitely stay here again if we head back to Cottonwood.

Exploring Cottonwood

Just a quick getaway to explore the area. The house was just a quick walk to town. The Train thru Verde Canyon was fabulous. The house was very clean and well stocked with towels, cookware, etc. I did hear some footsteps and voices, realized there was someone staying in a connected back room & they parked next to our bedroom window.
