"The Octagon was a great venue for a Memorial Day Weekend trip of eight life-long friends. Our 47th year! The house was perfect sized and offering room to hang out inside as well as outside by the fire pit. We cooked three dinners and found the kitchen perfect for our needs. Very secluded and no fear of disturbing neighbors with music or yelling during horseshoes matches. The Tioga Golf Club was just minutes down the road and the bike trip down the Pine Creek Canyon was easy but beautiful. A great place."

"The cabin was great! It was clean, well-maintained, comfortable with everything you need. Towels, linens, WIFI and welcome basket was a plus! Cabin was centrally located for quick access to some great fly fishing! Highly recommended, thank you!!!!"

"We stayed in Oak Cabin & it was perfect (except we didn’t get a fire starter this time & I am terrible at building a fire). The building is sturdy & offers warmth or cool, depending on when you are there. There are fire pits all over so you can enjoy your own company. There beds were comfortable, the decor was cozy. All utensils needed are available. The sound of Pine Creek flowing is relaxing. Only disappointment (which was totally tolerable) was that I wanted a T-shirt from the Welcome Center, but had no idea how to unlock the cabinets to get one. Otherwise, this place is absolutely top notch. I booked the main cabin for October & have decided that even if I don’t find 15 other people to join us, we are still going to stay there!"

"The cabin was really nice. We enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the stars. Also used the fire pit one night. The cabin has everything you would need for a weekend stay. Tons of State Parks close by for hiking. "

"I understand it’s under construction and it was for $89 but it just doesn’t say safe and welcoming for ppl to want to stay there"
