"Had a great stay at The Clayton, clean room and comfy beds. Staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed some cheeky cocktails in the lovely hotel bar and the breakfast was perfect to set us up for the day ahead. There's also bus stop into the city centre nearby or taxis waiting out the front entrance (or use Uber)."

"We had the misfortune to book this hotel for two different stays in one week. The rooms were dark and in horrible repair. There was a 30cm hole worn in the carpet in our room, the bathroom from was mismatched and had loose tiles, there was one overhead light in the whole room, which was cool white. No bedside lamps. The shower was weak and leaking all over the wall. The hotel is in a busy, noisy area. We had people screaming outside the rooms until 2-3am every day. Not a place we will stay again, especially at the ridiculous price we paid."

"If you are a light sleeper, this is not the hotel for you. The hallways are so loud, everything echos so you’ll hear people going up and down, wasted and slamming doors until 2am. I had to walk outside and ask people to be quiet several times. The location is great and the rooms are big but it’s not worth the price. I would look elsewhere. "
