"The whole property is so peaceful and clearly a labour of love - our room (Granit) was huge and beautifully decorated. The pool is large and the views are amazing. Madeleine was very helpful at check in but we had our privacy the rest of the time. We highly recommend a stay here."

"Chose this B & B as it was close to the Canal du Nivernais and had good reviews. I was not disappointed. I was the only guest but was offered a 3 course evening meal - very good. Room was clean and quiet, had a good nights sleep. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice and fresh croissants. Little gem of a place. Recommended"

"Very cute, comfratable, large room, good water pressure/temperature, the shower-tub combo was perfect. I would stay here again.
However, the check in isn't right on Hotels.com. It says that you have to contact the property for check in instructions and lists a phone number. It took us multiple attempts to reach the hotel, and when we did get through they said they didn't speak English and hung up (the listing says they speak English and French). When we got there, the gate is closed and...

Mill from the 17th Century on a large land crossed by a stream
10/10 Excellent
"We loved the property. Although itâs old in a goed way, it was also very clean. We loved the outdoor areas too. You do have to drive a bit to buy your bread but itâs worth it. Details we loved: there was a bottle of good white wine offered to us, if we had a question, like âwhere can we buy some good wineâ, we got their personal list of vineyards and when we ware all admiring the water wheel, the owner took the effort of removing the top cover so we could enjoy the wheel turning. Lovely people! Also, there was firewood waiting in the fireplace, ready to go and there was charcoal available for the bbq. We hope to visit again."
