"we booked this hotel because it is one of the few in the area that can be booked independently for a few days. We were pleasantly surprised - a welcoming family run hotel, with a very nice bar/lounge area, well equipped and comfortable bedrooms with wi-fi. There is a sauna, hammam and jacuzzi downstairs. The breakfast was very good. The hotel is close to the gondolas and a stones throw from the free ski bus stop. You can also walk up to 1650 and 1850 through the woods from the hotel. Would...

"The hotel is ideal for skiing and is essentially a ski in/ski out property with a very short walk from the back of the hotel to the gondola. There is a ski rental at the entrance to the hotel. The staff is very nice. However, the hotel is a little worn and could use some updating. The elevator is small and outdated; have to push down button even when going up leading to much inefficiency with people getting on for both directions. "I had a wonderful stay at this hotel despite it being somewhat modest, lacking a proper lobby. However, the reception from and care by India, the property manager was exceptional. I was traveling alone and India made sure all was well with me and that I made myself familiar with everything. For a modest hotel in a pricey area this was truly comfortable and hospitable!
