"Lovely house within an easy bike ride of pretty La Rochelle and convenient for visiting Ile de Re. The pool was very welcome after sightseeing. "A beautiful house with lots of facilities and a large pool. It is in a nice quiet area of La Rochelle, though it is a fairly long walk to any amenities.Dealings with the owner were difficult. He came to inspect the property before we left and questioned us about anything he was not happy with. He also wanted us to pay an extra deposit and charged us extra for providing bedding. The house was lovely, but I would not book it again as I found it very stressful!"

"My family and I have enjoyed a really lovely week in this great house. The property is very well equipped very comfortable and has everything you could need. There’s plenty of space for everyone and the kids appreciate the WiFi. It was very easy to find and thanks to Kevin the caretaker we soon felt at home. "The hob didn’t work the lights outside around the table were not working, the pool was not maintained and we were not able to swim in it . As a consequence of the cooker not working I had to pay for six of us to eat put all the time! And the food I bought from the supermarket to cook went off !! My daughter is visually impaired and fell down the steps because the lights were not working!! I contacted the manager on 10 different occasions and she did not get back to me . "We, a family of 4 with 2 teenagers, had a great one week stay in this very nice designed and comfortable house. It has all luxury you can think of, including climate control and perfect beds. The garden has sun and shadow places all day and is extremely well equiped. Communication went well and any questions were answered quickly. Puilboreau is a very quiet village at biking distance of lovely places like La Rochelle and Ile de Ré. The presence of the cat was a surprise to us, but he was nice...
