"The Hotel Les Saules is a wonderful hotel that is a must for that trip away for any reason. The staff are personable and welcoming; very professional. Vonnas is this beautiful little town in France that is a hot bed of culinary excellence and the gem of the hospitality industry.
Our room was lovely and well appointed. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean and well thought out. Our room looked out over the square of the town which also served as the parking lot for everything,...

"A lovely 3* hotel. Immaculately clean, well presented and with excellent service.
The fit out of the rooms is new and well maintained; it is a little functional (rather than boutique), in keeping with many modern hotels, but is enhanced by lots of little touches of colour and style (paintings, bed runners, etc).
The beds were very comfortable.
Food and service in the restaurant was excellent (but if you want frog legs, you'll need to order those in advance!)"

"When I ring up about a late check out for Wednesday 5th April at 16:00 for your colleague tells me it's for free of charge, I expect this for my and my other colleague, but when we arrive at the hotel and we get told it's going to cost âŹ80 each this is absolutely un acceptable and the excuse was 'my collogue enquired AFTER your rung'. Absolutely not good at all."

"This is a great hotel for a short stop / easy to find, lots of parking, places nearby for food. The self-service check in means itâs an easy âen routeâ option which is clean and well laid out, with modern, clean bathroom. Would stay again."

"This is the second time Iâm staying in this hotel.
The administration changed but the service remained unchanged.
Now itâs my stop for my nights of transit when Iâm going north and south.
Iâll will take a longer period one day in this hotel to relax a week away from stressing life.
I strongly recommend this hotel bon sejour."

"Lovely hotel - rooms very well finished and very clean. Amazingly comfortable bed. Very good pool which was welcome after biking in 30° heat through the mountain. Best thing about this hotel though were the lovely staff. From check-in, the fantastic restaurant (food was seriously good) until check-out - all the staff were brilliant. Highly recommend this hotel and would definitely go back. "
"Excellent hotel in great location just off the motorway. Restaurant is also very nice with good food, however due to the lack of anyone managing the staff service is not the best. Breakfast is excellent with lots of choice and plentiful. "
"Really clean, spatious family rooms. Bathroom acceptable for one night stay. Small breakfast, but sufficient to start the day. Great for one night stay."

Our room was lovely and well appointed. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean and well thought out. Our room looked out over the square of the town which also served as the parking lot for everything, yet it was part of the park. We had a balcony where you could order breakfast, but don't do that. Go to the breakfast they have at their neighboring restaurant. It must be a training ground for the next set of Michelin star chefs. The food was beyond amazing. It was not overpriced and worth every penny that you pay. Everything is fresh and delicious. NOTE: Make reservations in their restaurant in advance especially during the summer season. There are two types of services: the restaurant and the Food Tasting Menu. The restaurant is ala carte and the Food Tasting Menu is expensive, but if you are a foodie, this is your moment of joy. RESERVATIONS for either are a must.
Everything is close by and quaint. Definitely a highlight of our stays."
