When we checked in room it was organized but not thoroughly clean, bedsheets were old with hair on it , and drink stains on tables.But once we informed staff sbout they were helping and changed everything.

The room was very clean, the staff were very pleasant and welcoming. The breakfast room was surprising in the fact that it was so varied and the food was delicious. The woman tending the breakfast room was very nice and extremely helpful. We most definitely would stay here again.

Convenient location for the East side of Courtenay and easy to find, close to a major road. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. Front desk staff were fantastic. They were checking in a basketball team when I arrived and they were quick and efficient with them and then again with myself. Later in the evening, I witnessed a guest was having a medical emergency and staff were very helpful calling an ambulance and assisting the guest until help arrived. Well done. Small but clean pool area, nice gym. I rated 4 stars as there was no hot tub and, like most chain hotels with a breakfast, it was extremely salty (I actually ended up going somewhere else to eat). I would stay here again for the location, cleanliness and friendly staff though.
