Sagamore Hill is a great place to visit for those nature lovers and history buffs. The tour of the Roosevelt house was interesting as well as a full museum on Theodore Roosevelt. This branch of the natural park service also included a nature trail that takes you to the pretty beach in the picture. Along the trail we were able to spot beautiful wild flowers many chipmunks, squirrels, deer, egrets, butterflies, crawfish, salamanders, etc.... Not one of the most majestic national parks I've been to but interesting, very pretty and a great mix of both history and nature! We spent 3.5 hours there including taking the house tour, thoroughly reading through everything in the museum and taking a stroll to the beach. It's near the cute historic town oyster bay which is a great town to stroll through and get lunch!

"My flight was delayed, so I didn’t arrived until 2:30am, the desk attendant was not there but a note that said to drop my key if I was checking out. After a short wait, I was checked in. This property will be much better in a couple of months, they are currently renovating. "

"I needed a room for the night. Cruising out the next day. Booked thru hotels.com . Extremely reasonable rate compared to other hotels near by . Was able to get a hotel shuttle even with late arrival. (Midnight). Check in was a breeze. Room was nice and clean. Rooftop bar was lovely. I would recommend this hotel. "
