Took a ride on the Coventry Greenway which is an old, disused railway converted to a bike path. This path has scores of old mills along it.

The mill was built at the beginning of the textile industry era in New England, leading to strong economic ties with the Deep South, whose slave labor supplied the cotton. This mill was the last to operate in the villages of Coventry and is now being converted into condos.

"I reserved this cottage for a one-night stay after visiting with friends and before flying home to Colorado. It is exactly as described on VRBO and is a perfect retreat. It's very well finished, located on the water, surrounded by green grass, trees, and many birds, and it is very tranquil. It is also very well located. It was perfect! "The property is located in a beautiful little setting set back off the road with a huge lawn and outside patio area. Alan, the owner was very accommodating. Inside was two bedrooms, a bathroom and a nice big living room with a table. Also was a mini fridge along with a microwave and a Keurig coffee maker. A great little hiking area about 200 feet down the road. Beds were comfortable and very clean. I would highly recommend this place."

"We had an enjoyable long holiday weekend at Sakonnet Sunset Manor. Stacy and Mario are great hosts and very responsive. Great location. The home is very well appointed, with lots of amenities (including beach chairs and beach cart!) The pool area provides a great place to relax and enjoy. "The property was ok. You are on the 3rd floor and there are only stairs. We didn’t mind, but renters should know. The apartment only had 2 towels. No wash cloths, no hand towel, and no kitchen towel. I asked for more towels and only got 2 more bath towels which we made work. The coffee maker was duct taped. It is very simple and met our needs. "
