A bit outdated Motel. For our stay it was mostly working construction workers and utility workers that seem to stop in for a night. Very limited in what’s provided.. Had to go to the front for a bar of soap. Best part is it centrally located. If you’re just crashing for the night for a bed and a shower prob will do.

Getting clean towels and having trash emptied was a bit of a problem. At times breakfast was low on food. Staff was friendly and would get what we needed. I think the main problem was that they were low on help

The room was basically clean, bed was comfortable, and room spacious. However, the floors weren't clean, and there was mold in one corner of the tub wall. The fridge would make noises off and on, making it harder to fall asleep. The breakfast could be improved with greater variety. After 2 mornings, we decided to eat elsewhere. The hotel is conveniently located close to I-12 and in between Covington and Mandeville. The place would be okay for a one-night stay, but since we stayed 3 nights, I wished I had stayed somewhere with slightly higher reviews and better breakfast.

The room smelled moldy, the air conditioner sounded like a jet trying to take off...it was very loud. Tub faucet was dripping. Mold around the caulking of the tub. Sheets were dirty. Table was dirty and had some kind of dried up sauce on it. We ended up going to walmart and buying bleach spray to sanatize table and tub before we could use them. There was loud music all night and major fighting and screaming that the staff did nothing to remedy and seems that is "normal" at this hotel. We ended up leaving a day early because we no longer felt safe there (no refund on our prepaid stay) and rented from Comfort Suites which was much better and very attentive and clean. Will never stay at this Super 8 again, but if youre in Covington, i highly recommend the Comfort Inn we ended up at.

The front desk staff was helpful in assigning us an accessible room on the first floor. The room was comfortable. We couldn’t get the shower to function— only the bathtub faucet. Breakfast was pancakes only. The location was great!

Great rooms

The rooms were clean and staff was nice. The only real complaint is the breakfast. They have the spots for but didn't have anything out besides cereal, eggs, and a waffle maker with syrup. No butter or jams

Could use some spring cleaning/repairs

This place needs some major deep cleaning and some repairs. Room smelled musty, bathroom needs new caulk, old tub had a fist sized chip in it, sink stopper not functioning and laying out on the side. Sink dirty, black fingerprint smudges all over door and bathroom door. Keep your shoes on when walking on floor. Overall surfaces dirty. Towels and sheets seemed clean but not fresh smelling. Water was hot and fixtures worked. Fridge and AC worked good. Staff was friendly. Breakfast had waffles, cereal, milk was fresh, bread for toaster and granola bars.

When we got there the customer service was terrible. He didn't want to answer any questions and before we our last night. Our key card stop working and the person that was there that night. Act like they didn't care. The rooms were clean and the cleaning crew was wonderful. Lovely people!

There were simple things missing like a trash can and once attempting to use the microwave a roach ran out did notice a missing item but nothing that mattered much or had any value but thought it was wierd and rude but hey my falut should have told them no room service all in all my stay was ok the girl at the front desk was really kind and polite when we check in

I am a regular at this hotel, staying once a week for work. I find the rooms in the 120 and up better than the rooms in the 100-105 range. I have been blessed to have excellent service - usually from a young woman named Niesha. (sp?) Always smiling. Always patient and accommodating. The rare times I've had a problem with a room, she has taken care of it promptly. Super 8 is fortunate to have her. I have stayed at the two local adjacent hotels and the accommodations may be a tad better, but the ease of the registering and getting my key with a smile usually has me choosing Super 8.

The front desk was very friendly. They always offered us some King Cake whenever we entered the lobby. The only thing I have a complaint about was the housekeeper never came to my room to clean up at all . Thanks for having the room stocked up with plenty of towels and toiletries because again they never came to the room even when I was gone. I finally saw a housekeeper and she was very rude stating time to get out when we were packing up very unprofessional. But overall I would highly recommend it because we did not have to do any driving because everything is in walking distance .

Overpowering cleaning products that had my eyes watering and my nose sneezing. The front desk person was amazing. She helped me change to a less offensive smelling room. I unpacked, only to find out no TV remote. She brought in 3 different remotes but couldn’t get them hooked up. She offered to move me again but I declined as I had been driving all day. Guess you get what you pay for. Never again motel 8
