This motel was horrible. The outside of the building is in bad repair. The room itself had a dirty sink and we found a hair hanging from the shower. The mattress and box spring were stained. We made a horrible mistake by staying here. We would NOT recommend this motel to anyone.

My hosts were very cordial and kind. The bunkhouse was enjoyable for a relaxing break with a wood burning stove and a dark sky to view the stars. Their ranch dogs were well trained to engage with me when I wanted to spend time with them.

While there are decent food choices in the area (a Dairy Queen, Burger King, and a Subway were all down the road), there isn't much else in the area. It's all fields and farmland for as far as the eye can see.

The Mexican restaurant was excellent!! El Paraiso. If you're in the area and love Mexican food this is the place. I wish it was closer!
