"Wow, what an awesome trip we just had. I was lucky enough to take a chair making class less than a mile from this property. The cabin was super convenient and simply beautiful. The cabin is very spacious, well appointed and well maintained. Our host Diane was responsive to any and all questions and issues that arose, we couldn't have been more pleased with our choice of accommodations for the week. Everything was exactly as described, and Diane was kind enough to stock those necessities like bathroom supplies, coffee filters, dish cleaning soap, trash bags. Again we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Thank you Diane for being such a great host, we hope to return."

"Although the weather did not really cooperate (rained for the first 2 days), we still found the home cozy, peaceful and and the area serene. A beautiful location right on the lake. We go once a year with our four wheelers to northern Vermont and this was a great riding area. Lots of trails with stops along the way (Parker Pies, Bakersfield, Morgan Store). Jim and his wife were there when we arrived. Very nice people. Would recommend to hikers, ATV'ers, and just folks who want to get away. PS. The lake was extremely cold to swim in. Tried fishing, no catching."

"5 of us - 2 'adults' and 3 grown kids - all stayed at the home. We all had plenty of space. When arriving I was confused between a key lock mounted outside the door and the integrated handle lock on the door. A quick call to the owner cleared up the confusion. The integrated lock takes some getting used to and can be a bit finicky to operate at times. We ate out mostly so didn't use the kitchen but it appeared to have everything anyone would need. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and we loved the ceiling fans. On a really hot day the fans might not have been enough but they were enough for us. The home is very near a road that has a lot of traffic but the only time road noise was an issue was when we were outside around the fireplace. Had we opened the windows, however, the noise might have been a bother. Getting out of the road is a bit challenging because seeing oncoming traffic in one direction is limited. In addition, there is no road sign so GPS will get you there but you have to know where to turn. Once you learn this, all is fine. The laundry facilities were fine but a bit loud and the hot water was a little on the cool side for us - especially if both showers are running at the same time. The home is located very near town which made getting to shops and restaurants very easy. All in all it was a great long weekend. We'd definitely stay here again."
