"Stayed at Quality Inn & Suites in Craig, CO from April 30 – May 4 and would not recommend this hotel.
I rarely give reviews, but this stay warrants information to be shared. The property is around 40 years old, and it definitely shows. The jacuzzi was out of order the entire stay, and the pool water was murky and unappealing, not to mention it is in the middle of the open lobby area. The bathroom also smelled musty, and there appeared to be black mold growing on the popcorn ceiling above the shower. The breakfast buffet was very limited, with small portions and scrambled eggs that appeared processed and cut into squares. Breakfast also closed early every day, even though there were very few people eating.
Another big issue was the complete lack of room service during our 4-day stay. We were told they did not call the maids in because only four rooms were checking out, so guests staying multiple days received no cleaning service at all. If you needed clean towels, you had to go to the front desk and get them yourself. No trash pickup or room refresh on anything.
Another major concern was security — all exterior doors were unsecured and outside access broken throughout the stay.
Overall, the staff was nice, but this hotel was poorly maintained, unclean, and not worth the price or the stay. Had the room not been pre-paid, we would have left. Definitely will not be visiting this hotel again."
