"Really nice gite, it was well equipped and very clean, lovely owners and perfectly located for visiting Troyes, Lac d’Orient & Nigloland. The village is lovely and quiet and the local bakeries sell beautiful bread and pastries. It was so hot we could have done with fans to cool us."

"J'avais réservé 4 jours dans un gîte pour 4 personnes.J'ai payé, et j'ai reçu la confirmation et l'adresse. Le lundi, on se presente chez le propriétaire et le gîte était occupé pour tout le mois d'octobre. À 19hrs nous n'avions pas un toit pour dormir. En ce moment je suis en train de désinstaller l'appli et je croise les doigts pour avoir un remboursement."

"Not the normal holiday let - and all the better for it ! Huge garden with tables and chairs. The host was helpful and friendly. He left us a bottle of his own fortified wine made from his grapes in the garden. Intermarche Supermarket just up the road and easy to get to Troyes."

"This property is two rooms next to a small hotel. There is no check-in desk, instead you are meant to fill in an online form and let them know your arrival time. We hadn't seen that instruction, and nobody answered when we phoned the number on the door at 8pm. Luckily a local was passing and was able to help contact the hotel and get us in. "Nice property in the old town, walkable to train station and sights. Classic style room. TV vey glitchy, which normally wouldn’t matter except I wanted to watch Roland Garros. Really good restaurant!"

"Our family, including two kids were amazed by the hospitality of the hosts, cleaning was and warm atmosphere in this quite old but perfectly fitted house in the middle of old town of Provins. The breakfast was very special with high quality French food. The garden near the house was very private and relaxing. Very positive experience, thank you !"

Really nice boutique hotel

"Small hotel with very friendly and efficient staff. I am a very light sleeper and my room was right next to the elevator and the elevator shaft. I asked to be changed and the front desk manager was so helpful. The room I was then given was in tbe very corner of the top floor and very quiet and peaceful. "

"This was a small inn which was very nice. Breakfast buffet was very good and room was clean and nice. The area around it was very residential so not a lot of things to do close by. The staff was very nice and always looking to take care of you. Did not eat dinner but restaurant always seemed full so good sign many locals. Good access to lots of attractions by car and well worth the cost. "

Poor service

"On arrival we had to try several numbers to get a response We had no hot water in any of the 3 rooms. We called and he returned saying it was sorted and we would have hot water after 3hrs but we still didn’t have any in the morning. We were on 3 motorcycles and had been travelling all day looking forward to a shower. Then in the morning while we had breakfast they went in our rooms moved some of our stuff and cleaned the rooms ready for the next guests before we even checked out. "
