"We had 6 guys and the cabin worked well. Three guys had their own rooms, and the other three shared the bunk room. The double beds on the bottom bunks are big, and there is a nice bathroom in the bunk room. Several of our guests also enjoyed using the outside shower. The WIFI also works great for anybody needing internet service. The docks and lift worked well for our two fishing boats."

"This cabin is in a beautiful location. The cabin was clean and the kitchen well stocked. The view of the lake and the abundant wildlife was just what we were hoping for. The night sky is indescribable. I would recommend this cabin as a number one choice if you plan on staying in this area. Jamey was easy to talk with, readily available to answer questions and provided a lot of information on where to eat and who to contact for boat tours."

"The house is spacious, bite, and as-advertised. It’s a duplex, so if someone else is renting the other side, you will hear each other. Would definitely recommend."

"The property is an absolutely perfect way to explore the area, and have a nice, quiet spot to go to relax. We loved the sunsets, the cabin was beautiful, and the outdoor sitting area/fire pit was a favorite spot to end our evenings. Loved everything about it!"

"Very nice little guest cabin tucked in the woods. Option to rent the boat they have or not, which helped us out a lot for keeping our daily options open on where and when we wanted to fish. My only complaint is the pontoon died several times out in the water but good news is that it always restarted for us after a bit. I did have to jump in the water to avoid hitting one shoreline, but after it died that last time, we fished for awhile and didn’t turn it off again until we were back at the boat dock a few hours later. No other problems beyond that. Great place overall. "

"John and Carol are wonderful hosts. It really reminds me of going up for family vacations in the 80's and 90's. Very laid back and helpful if any questions or needs arise. Beautiful Lodge and grounds. Great access to boat slips and great boat launch. Our cabin (daybreak) was literally right over the water. Woke up to waves lapping every morning. Lots for the kids to do and fishing is bar none"

"I came with my parents, my 9yrs old son, and our dog. The experience was peaceful and the place beautiful! The property is amazing, clean, comfortable and beautiful. It is true that despite the stores it is very bright in the mornings because of the design of the house, but it the house is so pleasant that it doesn’t matter. Don't be afraid of the goodlse poops on the water edges of the property (including one of the 2 piers, because after all, it is their place. We brushed it off with a pine branch and it was all ok. We came to trek, but were disappointed to find out that we couldn't take our dog with us. This is the nature of all the national parks in the US. We hired a canoe very close to us and we enjoyed exploring the river on which the house is overlooking. Be aware that it is a good idea to book a canoe in advance if you don't have already one. There is one shop at the gaz station 10 minutes away, but there is nothing fresh there, so you need to plan in advance. The owners were very friendly, and all was easy and pleasant. We want to come back! The only downside - which is nothing"
