"Laura was a great host. The apartment is quite a challenge to find for the first time , she was on hand to guide us . She also spent a lot of time giving us tourist ideas of where to go and what to see , and with WhatsApp she was always on hand to answer questions. The apartment was delightful, perfect for 2 people with everything you could need in it ( UK people , remember to bring a power adaptor to convert from Euro style to UK ) . "The place had a great view but no sun on the deck (early October). The bed was a disappointment since it was a pullout sofa with 2 separate (very hard) beds. We did not realize we had to bring our own sheets and towels. Marcus arranges that we could walk to a ladies house and pay quite a bit of money to rent sheets for 3 days. (We used our beach towels and scarves instead). All instructions were in German so the pages of information sent was unreadable to us. We asked for English instructions...

"Amazing view on lake. Nice flat and terrace. About 10min from the city, located on the hill. Lots of things to discover around including the islands on the lake. Some issue with the tub but it has been improved during our stay."

"Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet (insbesondere die Küche). Der See ist in nächster Nähe und auch an Wandermöglichkeiten hapert es nicht. Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und stand uns stets mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Wohnung liegt etwas versteckt zwischen anderen Häusern und ist etwas dunkel. Wer es kühl, ruhig und zurückgezogen mag ist hier genau richtig. Vielen Dank für die schöne und entspannte Zeit!"

"This place is really nice - we had a great four nights here, and were very lucky with the weather as it rained lots just before we arrived (it is "mountain weather" so you get what you get). We arrived "out of hours" but this had been prearranged so there is a safe with pin codes which was easy enough to use and we got our key and instructions very quickly. "There are about 25 apartments in Colina Verde B - ours was closest to the pool and there was almost nobody else there - the pool was essentially our private pool. Nice clean place, beautiful setting, 7 minutes to the waterfront by car. Ascona is a lovely little place with a lively waterfront scene. All in all, ne of the best spots we have ever rented. "

"We loved this corner unit right on the waterfront—pleasant breezes, wonderful views, nice sounds of music and happy vacationers drifting up from the street and ferry terminal below. The unit is basic but the kitchen had everything we needed (except a can opener). Highly recommend!"
