We loved Gathering Oaks Retreat!

This property far exceeded my expectations. My teenage sons and I had so much fun playing ping pong, bags and the hot tub/pool! It was so peaceful and relaxed. If we ever get back to Waco, we'll be staying here!

Peaceful and romantic

My husband and I chose gathering oaks to stay in for our 5th wedding anniversary. We loved the property and the location. It was far enough out of town that it felt quiet and peaceful, but close enough that we drove in for our meals and for entertainment. The tiny house we stayed in was really cute! The kitchenette had coffee and cutlery and such. We also enjoyed the view of the trees from our bed as we had our morning coffee. The games on the grounds were fun and filled in the gaps of our weekend. We really enjoyed our time and think it would be so fun to book for a girls weekend away or a family reunion! And if you are a fixer upper fan, you literally drive by the Gaine’s property every time you head into or out of town!

Needed a quick getaway from Dallas metroplex. Great little quiet spot just outside of Waco. We booked a tiny house! Cute cabin! Very clean, fresh and cozy.

Such a sweet place to escape

We've enjoyed each and every moment of our stay. It is so well arrange, excellent taste to decorate and organize all part of the resort. A sweet cocoon in the nature.

Peaceful!

This is a quaint compound with lots of trees & space to roam. We stayed in one of the tiny houses which is actually larger than most hotel rooms. We had everything we needed for our short stay. The location is very rural. We drove into Waco for Baylor activities, restaurants, & food supplies to bring back with us to the property. This is a super place for groups.
