"We stayed at this place for 3 nights and it was awesome! The hosts Marilyn & Charlie are very nice and caring... they are the best! Our vacation was very relaxing and we enjoyed the quiet time with family sipping morning coffee in the balcony and doing barbecue by the firepit in the evening. Not having wifi or mobile internet was a blessing... our kids enjoyed board puzzles, reading books and watching birds after a very long time! The views are breathtaking and there are many fun activities nearby. The cabin is very clean, tastefully decorated and furnished with everything that guests may need. The outhouse and the outdoor shower room needed some getting used to for us city folks, but were comfortable and good. The hosts had kindly left water bottles for us in the refrigerator, since the well water from the kitchen faucet tastes weird. Overall, a 5-STAR experience for us and we would love to come back again for our next vacation - THANK YOU!"

"We had an excellent stay in early May 2025. We had 15 adults (coworkers) all staying at the house and a few day-visit guests. The house accommodated us all perfectly and we had plenty of space for our whole group to spend time together working and playing.The kitchen was great for cooking large meals for up to 19 people at a time. There is a large pantry, six-top stove, large oven, and three refrigerators with a separate ice maker. The separate coffee and beverage bar is a great feature!We used the Blackstone grill for dinner one night and it was beautifully clean and ready for use when we opened it.The dining tables were large enough to accommodate our group and we could even get everyone squeezed around one table if we wanted to do a game as a group. There was enough indoor- and porch-seating for us to have large-group discussion sessions with the entire team while still enjoying the beautiful setting surrounding the lodge.We had some campfires - with s'mores! - in the pavilion, which was perfect when we had a rainy last night. There are several areas to explore the woods and we had fun crossing the wiggly bridge.The putt-putt golf course was equal parts fun and frustrating - as all good putt-putt courses should be. We had a tournament and there was plenty of clubs and balls for everyone to have their own.Several team members enjoyed the hot tub and it was clean, well-maintained, and enormous.We voted unanimously that we would all love to return to this house!"
