Wonderful cottage and location
When we arrived at Rose cottage we were greeted by the friendly owners Pauline and Tony who had lit the log burner ready for our arrival, which was very welcome after a long travel. The cottage itself was very clean and very comfortable. The location was perfect for us travelling with our dog as there are many lovely walks in the area being very close to the Nantes Brest canal.

Lovely cottage!
We had a lovely week in Rose cottage. The cottage has everything you could want - really well equipped kitchen, cosy lounge, very comfortable beds, great garden with a fab view and games and swings for our daughter! Tony & Pauline made us feel very welcome and gave us plenty of tips on local attractions. We'd love to stay again Caroline, Dave & Abi.

Superb cottage, wonderful hosts
Rose cottage is lovely. Comfortable and extremely well furnished and equipped, beautifully presented. Set in a beautiful location with views to die for. So peaceful, just what we needed for our weeks stay. Lots of great places to visit and most easily accessible from Credin the nearest village to the cottage. Tony & Pauline are amazing hosts, so helpful, and lots of good tips on where to visit and they manage all of this without being intrusive. We can thoroughly recommend both cottages (we were shown around Lavender cottage). Tony & Pauline clearly take pride in their gites and so they should, after only 18 months in the business they have worked hard and are doing a brilliant job. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Rose cottage
Beautiful cottage set in peaceful countryside, with fantastic views. It’s just a few hundred metre from the Brest-Nantes canal. We took our bikes and cycled the 23km to Josselin. It’s an extremely tranquil ride, with a few other cyclists and the odd barge to wave to en-route. Josselin is a must if you visit this area. There’s a very decent little supermarket in Brehan for your food shop. Pauline and Tony are great hosts and even left us a bottle of traditional cidre as a welcome gift.

A perfect base from which to explore Brittany.
We stayed in Rose cottage for a week and if you're looking for a quiet location from which to explore the delights of Brittany would thoroughly recommend it. A quiet, easy to access location with great countryside views and easy access to amenities. The property is well placed by the canal cycle path (worth taking your bikes!) with the local town of Rohan a leisurely 15 minute ride away, or slightly further in the opposite direction to the town of Josselin, whilst the fantastic south coast beaches are only an hours drive away. The property retains its traditional characteristics and is both comfortable and well equipped. Our 10 year old son enjoyed the outdoor space and soon made friends with the resident hens!

Charming gîte and wonderful hosts
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Rose Cottage. The gîte is well equipped and beautifully furnished in a picture perfect location. We used the gite as a base to explore the region and weren't disappointed. Particular highlights were St Goustan, Carnac and Vannes. Further afield the Pink Granite Coast is stunning - we spent a wonderful day exploring the many coves and villages that make up the coast. Closer to home our daily walk with our puppy along the canal otter spotting was enjoyed by all. Peaceful and scenic. The Crêperie in Rohon was superb and became a firm favourite with our children. Pauline and Tony were great hosts - welcoming, discreet but available if we needed them with lots of tips on things to do and see. The children loved the chickens and were delighted to help find the eggs!! We would thoroughly recommend both Gîtes and would be happy to return in the future.

Excellent Gite near the Brest/Nantes Canal
We thoroughly enjoyed our short break staying in Rose Cottage with a warm welcome from Pauline and Tony. The gite is very well equipped and very comfortable. We stayed in Rose Cottage but Lavender Cottage looks equally as good. We liked the fact that the gites are only a 10 minute walk to the canal and cycling along the canal was a joy. The countryside is very scenic for walking or cycling with small and friendly bars/restaurants along the way. The local towns have all the shops you need for your stay. We can truly recommend staying at these gites and the whole area is delightful. We hope to return and will stay longer next time.

Lovely and quiet
Tony and Pauline are very helpful, they live next door if you need them but they don't bother you at all. The location is very quiet, the canal is close for walks/cycling. There is an abundance of wildlife. The cottage is a good size. Beds are comfortable. Great place to have a relaxing holiday.

Property well maintained, all facilities as specified.
Overall experience was good, property as description, although no wifi until last day. Owners very helpful doing anything required. Ideal for people who want peace and quiet and like cycling as canals are close. I would say not suitable for teenagers as not enough access to technology and no evening activities in area. Definitely need a car and good maps. Directions to gite need improving, need to be more specific. Very enjoyable stay.

Enjoyed our stay
Had a lovely week with our family. Beautiful towns and scenery in the area. The house is comfortable and clean. The view is stunning, and our kids enjoyed the garden ( with pool, swing, tennis) and loved the dog and cats. Pauline and Tony are friendly hosts, willing to help and answer questions.
