"We loved this place. We booked two rooms and they were both spacious, bright, clean with everything we needed. There were fresh baguettes and croissants delivered to us from the local boulangerie for breakfast. The location is central but quiet, walkable to the train station. Our windows open to the Narbonne cathedral and the beautiful plain trees outside. The host was very gracious about us storing our luggage after check-out. "You will love this charming BnB in an old French house, in a small town between Carcassonne, Narbonne, and Minerve village. Owners Chris and Paul are just wonderful, we had a beautiful high ceilinged room. We enjoyed the beautiful pool to cool off in every day, and the lovely garden paths. Breakfast is great. "First off, the woman who opened up the villa was extremely rude and only showed my daughter in law around the villa, insisting everyone else should wait outside. Afer 15 minutes, I'd had enough and went in telling this lady we were coming in. Added to this, the smoke alarms throughout the villa did not work, and as there was no way of securing the separate apartments, we had to close the metal shutters at night.
