Nice studio right by the ocean

  • This cheery and cozy studio, with a beautiful flower garden, hot tub, and a peak-a-boo view of the ocean and Battery Point Lighthouse is a perfect get away spot. You can fall asleep to the sound of waves on the nearby shore. Ocean access is just a half block down the road. For one night or a full week this home has a great location with easy access to many wonderful amenities.

    This is a no pet, no smoking home. Because of the close proximity of our neighbors we enforce a 10:00 PM quiet time. Additionally, please do not block the driveway as this is the only way of ingress and egress for our neighbors.

In general a cute cottage in a great location with many great walks with great views. The hot tub is a nice perk. Just needs to replace the broken blinds and remove the dirty looking window linen. Our top experience was an awesome beach horseback ride with Crescent Trail Rides.

The cottage has potential, but unfortunately, the overall experience did not match the price. Check-in information was emailed only a few hours before arrival, and we had to call to figure out which house was ours. The property also needs some attention: the mattress felt old, the toilet itself was wobbly, the AC remote barely worked, and there was no body wash. The advertised bikes consisted of one adult bike and two children’s bikes, all so rusted we didn’t feel safe using them. The guest binder was outdated and filled with handwritten corrections, with virtually no recommendations for restaurants or things to do. The frequent foghorn is obviously outside the owner’s control, but earplugs would have been appreciated. Being asked to start a load of towels before checkout also seemed excessive when paying a cleaning fee. Overall, too many small issues added up, and we did not feel the quality and service justified the price.

Redwood Trip

Great town to visit the redwoods from - quaint but plenty of places to eat. Place was perfect size - could have morning coffee/breakfast for hitting the road. Visiting the lighthouse at low tide is a must do.

Great location near the ocean

We loved staying in this cottage. We were just a couple minute walk to the ocean (lighthouse) to watch the sun rise and set. It was the perfect size for the two of us. We definitely recommend this cottage!!!! Also great restaurants near by and friendly locals.

Redwoods Holiday

We stayed at this great little spot and hiked the redwoods for two days. It was the perfect location for that and right by the sea for beautiful morning runs! We had everything we needed and Dave's communication was terrific - clear and timely. Would stay again!

Getaway to the Redwoods

The cottage was perfect for our exploration of the Redwoods. It is small but plenty of room for two people. Breakfast at home in the morning, pack a lunch and head out the door a day of hiking in the Redwoods. Plenty of choices for dinner out or eat in!

Studio near the lighthouse

The room was a good size and the check in was very easy. We loved being so close to the water and lighthouse. Loved my morning walks on the beach. We also lucked out and caught a beautiful sunset while up at the lighthouse. We would definitely book this property again. ☀️

Lovely cottage at Battery Point. Cozy studio with view of the lighthouse and marina in the distance. Beautiful garden! Enjoyed walking the path from the jetty to the marina. Everything you need in the kitchen. Dave was easy to communicate with and responded quickly. Thank you!

Peace and tranquility

Just as advertised this property is right on the water. Such a lovely place. Fresh flowers were picked and put on the table. Well stocked kitchen. Has everything you need for a wonderful stay. Very close to redwood Forest. We found a trail that followed the shore that was a treasure. Owners are very nice and responsive. Flower garden and hot tub are amazing. Washer and dryer came in handy on our trip. Highly recommended!!
