Beach access is wonderful. Front desk staff was amazing. The restaurant was something else, the first day the girl was great the second day the guy was slow didn't listen to our orders we got food before drinks our food was wrong had to ask for syrup 4 times and beyond that he was talking to his friend behind the counter and every other word was a curse word for 15 minutes, All three of my children were with me and it was very unprofessional. Elevator doors and above buttons COVERED in smudges and handprints for three days same hand prints...

Hotel was very welcoming to pets. The room itself was clean, however, all common areas very dirty and obvious deferred maintenance. The fitness room had visible on walls and a very bad odor. Pool was very unclean. The staff that were there were very kind and helpful did not seem to have enough cleaning stuff to keep up with the needs of the property.

Double queen balcony room had an amazing view of the sunset ocwr the ocean, equally amazing from their resturant; which was lacking quality food, raw meat and potatoes but appeared to ave a nice bar, we dont partake. The smoke alarm chirped after midnight and our kids got to meet their first CHP police dog doing a welfare check of some non associated with us noisy parties on the floor. Overall, a very intense stay but the hot tub didnt work to top it all off, one small jet for lots of feet.

This is a nice sightly older property in a prime location for exploring the Redwoods, the Battery Point lighthouse and all the beaches and sights around Crescent City. The on site restaurant has a nice menu, and reasonable prices. The unobstructed ocean view, with beach access right out the back made for a lovely stay.

We arrived at the hotel the views were spectacular but we are dealing with a time difference ..by 8:00 pm we are exhausted. This hotel has a pool table in the lobby area. Our room was right above. Local youth were planning past the posted time 10:00 pm At 10:45 my partner went looking staff ..None was found ..He was out back for 5 minutes . I LOST IT and yelled at him .. In the morning my partner was at the desk twice ..And he wasnt available again ..We decided to leave and were packing up .We reported to staff on duty a nd with the owner ...

Where do I begin.. the hotel seems to be falling apart inside and out. The entirety of the motel smells like cats. When I got in my room I found stains on the towels, sheets, and pillow cases.. I had a crib ordered and brought to the room, which the mattress in the crib was ripped up with the stuffing coming out.. It could be a great motel with one of the best views, but it needs to be completely redone.

Okay so hear me out, if you can get over the smell this is a great stay. Just make sure to get a nicer room it sounds like, I had a balcony and jacuzzi room and it definetly felt like ballin on a budget with the view and immediate beach access. Would stay again.

This hotel needs renovation for sure, at least for balcony and balconies patio doors. I didn't feel safe because the latch on the patio sliding door didn't lock, and not for one room but for the second also ( I required another room). The impression is this hotel doesn't have any cleaners, the hallway were dirty and not well maintained. The view from the balcony? Excellent!! If you are okay with the level of cleaning low, but you love the view, go ahead. I will recommend this hotel in a second if the maintenance is done properly!

Jetted tub in my room didn't work, nor did the phone to call the front desk. Community pool and hot tub were also not working and inaccessible. Property manager was disinterested and angry about the condition of the hotel. Not helpful and really petty and rude. Stay far far away from this place. It's a dying relic of a better time.
