The house we stayed in for 3D & 3N was big, beautiful, comfortable, and gave complete privacy which we could never get in a hotel. The kitchen was amazing with everything we needed. Nick the owner was quick to reply to our questions and he is a gracious host. My only suggestion would be less lights coming in the bedroom at night from the yard
The host was great with communication and our stay was seamless, comfortable and perfect. Beautiful home and space - we would definitely come back if in the area again!
The Ruby Rose was the perfect home for a family after a long day of hiking Jedidiah Smith State Park. Both the front and back living room space had lots of pillows and blankets and lighting, a nice place to chill and read a book. We appreciated the extra comfy beds, the coffee/tea station, and the extra swim towels. Do stay and visit the redwoods!
This house made our family getaway feel like home. It’s located close enough to activities but feels off the beaten path. Quiet and extremely comfortable. super clean and spacious. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is stocked with all we needed to cook for our meals. We will definitely stay again. Highly recommend this house.
The property had everything we needed, including kitchen utensils, towels, and linens. We would stay at this property again because it was a great place to stay. It was clean, comfortable, and well-located. The host was also very responsive and helpful.
We loved this house. Very clean. Well maintained. Lots of space for my family of six. Nick was very responsive to any questions we had. Great location, too. Had an amazing experience visiting the redwoods.
The house is well appointed, extremely comfortable and spacious. Felt more like a rental home, than a rental house. Great jump off point for exploring the Redwoods and local beaches. We highly recommend the property to anyone needing to stay in the Crescent City area. We’ve rented a lot of coastal homes, this is definitely one of the best.
Perfect House Close to the Redwoods and Oregon Beaches
The pictures don’t do this house justice. It was a great house with plenty of room and a great layout. Super close to the Jedediah Redwoods. About 30-40 minutes away from Brookings Oregon, and a lot of amazing beach hikes. Beds were all comfortable and had a great laundry room and kitchen.

The Ruby Rose is spacious and tastefully decorated. The kitchen is large, functional, and has everything you need to cook. We enjoyed the living room watching some TV and the round dining table playing board games. It's a bit of a drive (~10 min) from the center of Crescent City, but it was not a problem overall. The three bedrooms are all next to each other and there's one bathroom right next to them. The second bathroom is behind the kitchen, quite far from the bedrooms.
Loved this house. Had all the amenities we needed with lots of space to put our stuff. It was very clean and comfortable. Lovely backyard. Hosts were very helpful and friendly. Close to all the activities we planned—beaches, redwoods, 4th of July celebrations. Would definitely stay again.

N/A. Was unable to stay because I was in the ER in Medford.
One of the better rentals I’ve booked in recent memory. We were a group of 4 adults and one toddler. This place was perfect for us. Having 2 living spaces was great to spread out. Plenty of utensils, paper products, spices, and overall this house felt a lot like something that’s owned with care and not a volume rental. Would come back in a heart beat!
PS the neighbor across the street sells eggs by the dozen that cost less than at the store!
We stayed here for a trip to the Redwoods and this house was perfect in every way. The location was great for visiting the state parks and the ocean, and the proximity to Crescent City was perfect for meals. We loved lounging on the couch after hiking during the day and also did some stargazing in the backyard! It was just me and my partner, but this house would be perfect for a group or a family (we are trying to convince our family to come with us next time!) Nick was a spectacular host - so responsive, so helpful, and very accommodating when we asked for a late check in. Overall, just an absolute great place to stay and visit. Would HIGHLY recommend and we look forward to visiting again!
I absolutely would stay here again if in the area in the future. The house is one of the best looking ones on the street. The inside is decorated beautifully and very spacious. The beds are a comfortable firm that provides a nice rest. The yard and little details with plants and outside decorations are a nice touch and help you feel comfortable. There is plenty of things left in this house to help you have a nice stay (plenty of towls, tp, toys for children, playpen for a baby, blankets and pillows, updated appliances and kitchen utensils, etc.). The house is clean, relaxing, and overall great. You should definitely stay here!
We loved this house from the moment we stepped inside. It has a great 1950’s vibe that’s been totally and beautifully updated. It is extremely well-stocked with everything you could need. Favorite part of the house was den with comfy couches and large windows. The yard is immaculate with all the hydrangeas, roses and succulents. Even though it is in a neighborhood, it feels like we had our own oasis to come home to each night after exploring the Redwoods and the beaches. Host was quick to respond to questions and suggestions. Wonderful place!
