"A very charming and unique hotel. The staff are pleasant, but they seemed to be a bit short staffed, particularly on the week days. We only had breakfast one day because the selection was a bit limited and they were out of a couple things that were not replenished before we were done. I suspect that with more staff, they were better stocked on the weekend. We left on Saturday morning and there were more people at breakfast. The breakfast is quite inexpensive. I also have some concerns about the feral cats running around the property. My little Yorkie barked at one of them, so she came at us, fast! I picked him up to protect him, so she continued to run after me, trying to claw at my leg as I ran toward the door. Feral cats usually will not do this unless they have a neurological disorder or rabies, so be careful. Some guests were petting several and they were fine, but this one did not sit with the pack."
