"We stayed 2 nights at the Hotel Touring in Ferrara and would happily stay again. We had a spacious room in the annex (just behind the hotel) which was spotlessly clean with air conditioning and a lift. The fridge in our room didn't work properly and the bathroom was a little dated but these didn't really affect our enjoyment. The location is particularly good, being close to the castle and the stop for the airport shuttle is just outside. There's also a little hut in the park outside which does great food at a very reasonable price. The breakfast was of a high quality, and catered well for people avoiding dairy and gluten. Special thanks to the waiter who was very gracious and friendly, and the receptionist who checked us in a little early."

"The house was very clean and very spacious. Although having 2 kitchens was great, it was a little inconvenient because certain utensils or kitchen items were in one and not the other. Very limited on cooking utensils overall (there was one ladle and a spaghetti straining spoon along with a variety of knives), this made cooking difficult at times. We were without electricity for 2 days while we waited for the electrician to come. Communication from the owner during this time was not the best but she did provide a discount at the end of our stay after I asked. The only shower is on the main floor with the jacuzzi bath tub upstairs with the bedrooms. The house has hardwood floors throughout and is not very soundproof, you can hear every step and the tv from the main floor up to the bedrooms very clearly. The roof top terrace is very nice with lots of seating. Overall, nice stay in a quaint town with a grocery store close by. Would stay here again and would recommend."
