"I will commence by stating that this is not my first visit to The Mariner's. It is and will be my first choice for staying in Haverfordwest. So, clearly, i have stayed in a large number of their rooms. You have to know or remember that the building is historic having been in operation since 1625, so don't expext the rooms to be uniform in proportion. Having said that, they are generously sized with, for the most part, large and bright bathrooms. The room i had this time had the largest shower i have ever seen in any hotel. Simply stunning. The location of the hotel perfect being close to the town centre and the castle. The car park is also very good. You will enjoy really good breakfast options and i can recommend the hotel bar / restaurant for an evening meal. Not expensive either. The staff are extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful."

"Lovely couple of nights stay, staff friendly and helpful, spa facilities were great. Room had everything you need for a great nights sleep. Breakfast had so much choice and the food was excellent. "

"Elm Grove is quiet and surrounded by countryside. The hotel has a tennis court and Croquet on the lawn. We had a lovely meal on our first evening, but they don't serve meals every night. Our room was large and comfortable and a dressing room was a bonus. Highly recommended."

"Good bed, good sized shower, good breeze through the window. The breakfast hours are too early nd too short, and you apparently have to reserve a table for dinner, but they do room service and it was quick and delicious. They desperately need WiFi extenders."

"Breakfasts were superb and staff were really friendly and helpful. They clearly enjoy their work and it came across as a happy working environment which makes the guests stays all the more enjoyable. The only slight negative (of which nothing can be done) were some squeaky floorboards but, otherwise, the bedroom was comfortable and clean. It says a lot about the Broadmead that everything was great except for a couple of silly floorboards."

"Great location for day trips to anywhere in Pembrokeshire, especially Skomer. Overlooking the marina and only 5 minutes walk from a wide selection of good cafes and restaurants, but their own food is good too! Friendly staff. Rooms are spacious and well equipped but the bed was a little hard for me (like most hotels). Not all rooms have baths but I was able to change at no extra cost. "
