Our stay was great, house was clean and nice. We had a great weekend. Road going up was a little hard but manageable. Host was great with great communication. Overall a nice experience in a secluded area in the woods.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We love to coo and the kitch was emaculate and very well supplied. We love all the sins and poster with affirmative messages. Even our puppy was very comfortable. And yes the pinecones are amazing.

Beautiful vacation home

We had the best time at Pinecone lodge. The house was beautiful and comfortable. We loved relaxing on the deck and the hot tub was perfect!! Next time we’ll stay longer

Crestline Stay

The house was located in a nice, secluded area. There were trails to hike on and forest areas for the kids to play in. Having 2 bedrooms and bathrooms was great. The hosts were easy to contact and they responded promptly when I texted them.

Perfect Secluded Getaway

The property is very secluded, but well maintained. Very unique and peaceful experience. Beautiful deck with a hot tub and grill. Highly recommend staying here. Just be prepared for some windy mountain roads and a bit of dirt road at the end, but it was absolutely worth the journey.

Family Getaway

We had the most wonderful time visiting this property and the surrounding area. It was a much needed escape to relax, enjoy each others company & the natural peace and beauty of Pinecone Lodge. We absolutely loved how secluded this property is while still being a quick and convenient drive to so many neat places to have fun and explore. Check in and out was easy & any questions we had were answered quickly. We just had the best time and hope to be able to return sometime. Highly highly recommend!

The quiet paradise.

Extremely comfortable house with everything that you need. So quiet that the only thing you hear is the wind, birds, and far away neighbor's rooster. You definitely can NOT access this property with a low sitting sports car, but during the summer any other vehicle is OK.

Family trip

Cozy and peaceful. Our family had a relaxing time taking in nature and relaxing in the jacuzzi. Our dogs enjoyed themselves too.The dogs next door did visit often as they were off leash. Unfortunately the entire family contracted Pseudomonas a bacterial infection from the jacuzzi. We have reached out to inform management and have yet to recieve a response. So we are all now on antibiotic prescriptions. A bit disappointing to say the least.

Very secluded and lovely spot

This house feels completely off the grid, as you can't even see any of the neighbors, so it feels like you're all alone there. It's a lovely house with a well-stocked kitchen, nice hot tub with an incredible view, and lots of room for the dog to run around. Reliable internet and power and an overall great spot if you want to just get away.Communication was a little wonky. Messages came from several different people and at least one was an AI bot, I think? Pet fee is charged per night (which doesn't make sense to me) and quite high, but discounted to normal price if you post pics to Instagram (bummer if you have a private Insta?). That we had to pay extra to check in one hour early didn't feel particularly friendly.

The adorable place. Made with love and care.

You feel cared for every single minute you stay here. Even since you booked this house. The messages from the team and host gently lead you from the very beginning. You’re not going to be lost. The detailed route information, the online and paper instructions on how to use anything in the house. For our family, it was so important. The place itself is amazing!Such an astonishing view from the terrace where you can relax in the hot tub. Sunbathing, barbequing, and having dinner in the open air are options too. The interior of the house is gorgeous! Created by one with very good taste, and definitely with love. My favorite place is a wood stove zone. It’s cozy, warm, and relaxing. The kitchen and other rooms are top-notch! We could find everything we need. They are so beautiful and cozy. You can tell everything was made with love and care. We will definitely rent this place again.

Nice get away !!

Super cute and clean house- looks updated and new inside too. The hot tub was our favorite part, we spent most of the night inside the hot tub. The communication was awesome, and wifi works great. There’s also a little fire place in the house which was perfect for when we got out of the hot tub- it warmed us up perfectly. The ONLY negative I will mention is that the neighbors have 2 or 3 large dogs that do wonder onto the property.. usually this would be no big deal! I love dogs, but I brought my 2 dogs with us this trip and they are not dog friendly- this added a big stressor for me when I was hoping not to have to worry . I did have my dogs on long leashes but I was worried the other dogs would approach mine. I am writing this to give the next dog owners and heads up and not to complain- still giving 5 stars because we did love it.

Unable to access property-private driveway is not plowed!

We were as prepared as possible, arrived in a 4x4 Tacoma, with snow cables as it was snowing on our arrival day. We found that the very long private driveway is not maintained. It’s a very long uphill dirt road. Even with the 4x4, the snow and mud were too much and we only made it a very short distance up before getting stuck and then started sliding toward some rocks. Fortunately we were able to back down the drive, to the roadway.A neighbor cautioned us about continuing up the drive as other guests have become stuck before. Hosts offered a 50% refund but stopped communicating with us when we requested a full refund. Completely understand weather being a factor, but there is no information given about the condition of the private driveway, and I don’t think they should rent this place when the conditions are like this. That drive is not safe in heavy snow/wet conditions!

No air conditioning

The property itself is really cute, it’s very isolated from town, nothing within walking distance, but lake Gregory is a couple miles down the road. Our biggest issue was that we stayed in this property during the summer..it was only a couple weeks ago and there was no mention of the property not having AC..no warning beforehand from the property manager either, knowing there would be a heat wave that weekend. I stayed there with my family and 2 of our older dogs. When we arrived at the home at 4pm, it was 91 degrees in the house with only one box fan to circulate air..which at that point doesn’t do anything because it was too hot in the house. We messaged the property manager and it didn’t seem like she cared. We toughed it out and slept in the house the first night, mind you, it never got below 85 degrees in the house. Then we decided to leave the next morning. Our lake arrowhead trip was less than 24 hours, and it’s hard to say we weren’t disappointed. I wasn’t expecting a refund by any means, but maybe a voucher to come back or some kind of customer service. I felt really ripped off and not warned at all that there was no AC…we would’ve never booked this place had we known they didn’t have AC.

Serene yurt

This is an fantastic home in an excellent location! My wife and I enjoyed the peaceful quiet prevails on the outside deck and at the hot tub, and yet could still drive into Crestline and neighboring communities to experience all the small town wonder they had to offer. It was great!

Peaceful Getaway

My wife and I stayed here and loved it! It was so peaceful and quiet in a secluded area. The house had everything we needed including AC which was awesome on a hot summer day, especially after a good hike. The hot tub/deck area is a nice feature with a great view, and a great place to hang out in the evening. If there is 1 thing I would change, it is the outdoor security lights at night shining on the hot tub/ deck area - the lights are on constantly and are bright - it takes away from star-gazing on a clear night. Maybe motion sensor lights or something (?). Overall this place is awesome and we would love to stay there again someday.
