"Rustic feel with modern touches, this cozy cabin for two overlooking the Cedar River, is surrounded by nature's peace and quiet. It was a joy to have a cup of coffee on the deck in the morning hours! Tranquil area is home to many birds, frogs, and fish jumping in the river on occasion. Sometimes you'll hear the hoot of an owl. Sometimes a train. We cooked a couple fabulous meals on the grill. The paper plates and plastic ware came in handy when we didn't want to do dishes. Let's not forget Louie, their super friendly and playful golden retriever! He greeted us like we've known each other for years! Also, along came a sweet orange tabby to greet us, too! We will always cherish this visit!"

"This place is so charming! We really enjoyed our time here. The country is so quiet, it was the get-away we needed. The church is so spacious and oh so beautiful and our hosts were so hospitable. Quick access to the amenities of Downtown Cedar Falls with all the perks of a quiet country retreat. Hoping to book more stays here in the near future."
