"The place is located just outside the center of Bologna, in a quiet and peaceful area. By car, the city center is about 25 minutes away, and within less than 10 minutes you can find supermarkets and restaurants. It is also very close to the airport, which makes it very convenient. Communication with the host was excellent — they answered all my questions quickly, clearly, and very helpfully throughout my stay."

"When we arrived it took the host some time to open the gate. We took a taxi as this place is quite far out from modena. When he opened the gate he did not help unload or ask how the journey was etc but was chatting with our taxi driver as we stood obviously waiting to get to our rooms. He then told us the restaurant on site is closed and so was the pool. It was early evening when we arrived. "I arrived a couple hours before checkin but was able to use facilities such as the pool. Pros: staff, large reception with seating and water. Good selection at breakfast inc gluten free (bread, muesli, muffin) soya milk. The pool is fab, huge but deep (small shallow end) they have noodles and floats for all to use. Pool bar reasonably priced. The wooden seating areas with cushions and umbrellas and sofas are all free to sit on but can go quickly. Water dispenser right outside our room level 2. Rooms large, large bathroom great shower and sink area with good lighting (mirror does not steam up when in the shower) no issues with air con. Cons: extra charges, sun beds 25euro for 2 beds a day! Luckily other seating areas free. Weekend breakfast is chaos, you walk in and just sit wherever but no plates, cups or cutlery left. When staff bought food out it was swarmed and gone in seconds. The weekends were more relaxed and plenty for all. The hotel has been updated but the rooms not, they were clean but one towel was dirty. Beds comfy and rooms quiet, didn't hear anyone else. The main issue which was a struggle, no plug sockets in the room AT ALL! Rooms had good plug in hair dryers but nowhere to charge phones. I had to leave our phones everyday for a few hours with reception. Massive shops round corner very handy for snacks. Bus 89 outside takes you to centre."

"Lobby was beautiful but lacking a comfortable temp. They run AC at a minimum but leave front door open to outside. The hallways have no ac and the room they gave me was an air conditioned room but it did not work. They did move me to a bigger, nicer room with working ac but I had to pay an additional 20 euro per night."

"Overall, we had a very pleasant stay at this hotel, especially as we visited for our honeymoon. The hotel itself was lovely, and the staff made our stay feel special. We received a thoughtful card, a small gift, and complimentary drinks, which we really appreciated. The room was also very comfortable, with high ceilings that made it feel spacious and relaxing. Housekeeping was excellent and the room was cleaned very well every day. The amenities, especially the shampoo and bathroom products, had a very nice scent and made the stay feel more comfortable. The main downside for us was the location. It takes around 25 to 30 minutes to walk to the main sightseeing areas, which was quite tiring in the summer heat. Even using the bus still involved a fair amount of walking, so going back to the hotel during the day was not very convenient. We also arrived late at night, and because the underground route at the station was closed, we had to take a longer detour from the bus stop to the hotel, which made the arrival more difficult than expected. The pool area looked nice and relaxing, but it was quite busy with many people around and in the pool, so we personally decided not to use it. In July, the heat also made it less appealing for us to spend time there. Overall, the hotel experience itself was very good, with thoughtful service, a comfortable room, and excellent housekeeping. However, the location was less convenient than we expected, especially in hot weather."
