"The staff on arrival were amazing. There was no space in the car park and one of staff moved their vehicle so we had a place to park. The check in process was seamless and all staff were ready to help us if needed. The room was immaculate and had everything we needed. Breakfast the following morning was delicious and served by enthusiastic staff. Checking out, we were very disappointed that we did not have more nights here as we felt it was one of the highlights of the road trip around the Highlands. Definately one place to return to and recommend to friends."

"The house itself is lovely, the room was very comfortable, the beds were heavenly, and the breakfast was excellent. The staff were accommodating when we had some delays checking in and out. The shower was the only downside--it was very hard to get the water to turn on and the water pressure was weak."

"Having been brought up in the area I have driven past Stonefield on numerous occasions. This year on a trip from Canada I decided to give it a try. A beautiful location easily accessible from the main road. I was impressed with the staff courtesy and helpfulness, the comfortable bar lounge and sea views. I would definitely stay there again. "

"Small, quiet and cosy well-equipped cottage, immediately on the sea front with private deck area and pebbled beach, with main beach roped off and sloping down to sea. View of sea from inside cottage is more limited, but side windows do give a reasonable view. I was there on my own and although the cottage is equipped for 2, it would probably feel cramped for more than a couple of days if more than 1 person was staying there. There are pleasant places for coffee and to eat within walking distance or a short drive. Although quite a number of people walked past the cottage and along the beach with their dogs or to sail, it always felt quiet and tranquil."
