"A very pleasant stay at Gite du Jouteau with our family of eleven, our ages ranged from 9 to 76. Surprisingly the indoor pool was a bonus with temps in the mid 30s during our stay allowing us to cool off easily. Very quiet area and a relaxing stay in the Sarthe region of France."

"The overall stay was good. The owners were great and very helpful and friendly. The only problem was actually locating the property itself. The area code for the sat nav took you to a crossroad and it took me a good hour driving around before I found the property. I did suggest that they put a sign roadside pointing towards the property. "

"The cottage was as described. Rustic and in a rural area which was exactly what our group wanted.We were greeted on arrival by the host, who spoke only French which was not a problem. She was very helpful and explained everything to us.The Gite was clean, spacious and was everything we could wish for. After a long day at the Le Mans Classic event it was a pleasure to return to the Gite."

"A well appointed and comfortable cottage with great views over a valley to the forest of Sille le guillaume. Perfect for a stay away from it all with plenty of choice of local towns for shops/provsions. As ever the local roads are perfect, with little traffic.
