"We enjoyed ranch house 3 during our stay. There are 3 "ranch houses" in a row on one end of the property. Much more secluded than the other cabins (I believe 17ish in that group). As a family we loved the pool area, and ate multiple times at the lodge restaurant. There were also 2 well maintained plagrounds. Ranch house had everything we needed except for cookie sheet for breakfast. (Found a DG 5min away) We would love to stay again. My only "complaint" or suggestion, is that we would have loved to rent a cart during our stay. As a family with small kiddos, the property was not walkable, so we had to load up the car every time to go eat, pool, fish pond, etc. We decided against the fish pond for this reason, as it is about a .25mile walk from your car to pond. (With toddlers and equipment, we decided to go to lake instead)"

"This was our second time staying at this beautiful lake house, and it was just as perfect as we remembered—if not better! It truly feels like a home away from home for our family. The house is clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing and fun stay.We spent our days swimming, fishing, and enjoying the peaceful views from the dock. The kids loved the outdoor space. There’s just something special about this place that brings our family together and helps us slow down.The hosts was once again kind, helpful, and easy to communicate with, making the whole experience stress-free. We’re so grateful to have found this little gem and already looking forward to our next visit!"

"We really enjoyed our stay art the Wonderland cabin. We had a dead microwave upon arrival and the boat immediately ordered one for replacement. When we found a new wasp nest they tried to get an exterminator right away. Sadly it was the 4th no one was open and I offered to handle it. They were super responsive. The Alice in Wonderland theme was fun and the house was very clean. The hot tub and deck were awesome. We used it every night and some mornings. It would be nice to have a washer and dryer but that's the only complaint. They are putting in a new dock and that will be awesome. If we go back to Lake Brownwood we would definitely stay at Wonderland again. "

"We enjoyed our stay. The long Island in the kitchen gave us a lot of room for food and eating. The porch was nice and the access to the water was a short walk. We were able to dock our boat for easy and convenient use."

From the wonderful owners (Mitchel and Kandi) who did everything they could to make our experience all that we hoped it would be to the beautiful ranch and bunk house, it was truly wonderful. I highly recommend the Ray Fox Ranch for any gathering from hunting and fishing to reunions or retreats. "

"This place was great! We had our 6 YO, 2 YO, and dog and it was very comfortable. We were lucky enough to stay when the lake was at 98% which made getting to and from the lake with our boat and jet skis via the creek pretty painless minus dodging some stumps. The porch was great and with plenty of light. The property itself was nice and maintained well so that we weren’t trekking through tall grass to get to the water’s edge. The house was clean and comfortable and very well stocked with anything our family needed. Best thing was the privacy. Living on 57 acres, I’m big on that. I was worried about the rv slots right beside feeling uncomfortable but the privacy fence was well placed and gave me exactly what I needed. I guess the only con is that it’s more of a fishing spot than a swimming spot. Lots of river life like snake, turtles and bugs. We tried to keep the kids out of the water there as much as possible. Overall 5 stars though. We will definitely look to come back in the future as long as the lake level holds! "
