"The room was spacious and clean, but needed soundproofing. The bathroom needed a tub. The view of the castle was very nice. The restaurant was bustling, the food was tasty. The staff were friendly. "

A 2-story unit with a large bed in a loft sleeping area with a small kitchen, living area with a couch and bathroom downstairs. "Riverview Cottage is a well maintained, cozy, and well-equipped cottage. We spent a week here and couldn’t have been more pleased with the accommodations. The kitchen was very well-equipped. The separate washer and dryer made it easy to catch up with the laundry after a bit of traveling. Located 5 minutes from the Calanais Standing Stones, the cottage is conveniently located to other attractions on the west coast of Harris. "This was a nice little house with everything you need. Our contact was very approachable and helpful. There were nice little details such as little flower bouquets which made it even more cosy. There is quite a loud street next to it, but as we used the place to explore the island this was no problem.
