After 30 minutes trying to figure it out with expedia on the phone, the staff at ameristar decided to comp my room. Ill always be grateful to those employees and how great the room was. "The lobby is beautiful and the conference room looks nice. I didn't need to use it but appears well set up. They have a nice bar and patio area. There is a walking path around the pond in back. The room was very nice and comfortable. I've been to a few hotels where the lobby looks great but the rooms are rough but not here. This will probably be our go to hotel nest time we visit Kansas city. "

"Convenient, easy, and very pleasant, with facilities to help you recover quickly from a long-haul flight (gym, pool, restaurant etc.) Wifi worked well, too. Breakfast was pleasant. The restaurant and waitress were very nice."

"Stopped over for a Royals game enroute to Omaha for the College World Series. Showed near the ballpark, and it was. Short walk to avoid traffic and parking. Hotel has been comfortable! Would do this again! "
