"The renovation of an existing motel is very well done. Considering the price per night is almost 1/2 of the chain motels, we were concerned with staying there the first time. Now, if we ever need a room in this town, this place would be our first choice. It is a motel and not a hotel, which means you park for free at your room door, and enter your nice room from the outside of the building. "I love hampton suites. Very roomy and well laid out. What I didn't like was the noise from the bathroom. Sounded like a water leak with a constant drip sound. I reported it and was told it was a fan making the noise. 2nd night we turned on the bathroom fan and shut the door. This worked pretty well. All in all nice stay minus the drip sound the first night. Very friendly pleasant hotel staff."

"First and foremost, the staff, from the GM to every other staff member we met, was so very pleasant, helpful and efficient. We were continually and sincerely asked by all we met, “Is there anything we can do to help or make your stay better?” We will be back."

"Our room was spotless, the only thing that wasn’t was the fact they’re currently doing renovations throughout the hotel. Stairs to upstairs rooms get locked at night and can only be accessed via key card, which adds some peace of mind. Staff was very helpful and if we find ourselves in Salem IN again, I’d stay here again."
