"Beautiful setting, can’t ask for a better view. Lodge was clean. Checkout at 9am and having to clean and sort out bins put a massive downer on our otherwise lovely stay."

"The lodge was perfect for 2 couples and a great base for walking in the Peak District. The lodge its self was clean and cosy and had the bonus of the hot tub to sooth achy limbs! Check in was very simple and secure & communication with the manager was fantastic and very prompt. There is a great pub 15 mins walk from the lodge The Plough Inn, which server great food , I would recommend booking to eat there as it was very busy. "Great hotel and we love the location and convenience of this hotel. The rooms are excellent and well appointed. This is a University hotel used for conferences and academic staff but it does cater to the public really well. Breakfast options are really good but we're beginning to note that the options are reducing in choice. The dining room should be updated and the lighting is very stark. "
