"Cabin was cute and cozy. It had everything we needed. We stayed for 4 nights and wished we could have stayed longer. The front porch swing was so relaxing. Parking was tight, but manageable. Neighbors are close, but it was still quiet and peaceful. Beds were very comfortable! Downtown was about 10 minutes away and the lakes were about 20. Cabin was clean and well stocked. Backyard was small, but perfect for my dogs. Having a door from the bedroom to the deck/yard was very convenient. We saw deer, javelina and some beautiful birds. The only con of our stay was a prescribed burn which was a bit overwhelming on our last night there, but of course no fault of the host. Didn't have direct communication with the host as we had 0 issues during our stay. A binder of helpful information was provided and had everything we needed. I would absolutely book the little red cabin again!"

"Owner was easy to communicate with and attentive. Just in passing we mentioned that we could use some more coffee filters because we drink a lot of coffee, so he left us a larger coffee maker as well as the filters . It's the little things that make a rental special. "

"Wonderful overnight visit in this cozy cabin. They have really paid attention to all the details. They have snacks everywhere! Dog toys and bed! Backyard/porch and front porch are so relaxing. We had the best time!! Be careful when driving on the dirt road, make sure to go 10 mph because it’s very bumpy and has small branches that can puncture a tire. Bed is more on the firm side fyi but I slept like a baby. "

"To say our stay at the lovely "Rustic Retreat" was everything we'd hoped it would be, is an extreme understatement!Everything was perfect....and so much better than the pictures portrayed . We spent most of our time outdoors...nestled among the ponderosa pines....soaking in the sun and the crisp mountain air. Inside was cozy and intimate....just right for we two. All the amenities were well thought out as well....and Sona was an amazing host.Cant wait to do it again....we will be back! "
