"Friendly people and really unique and historic place to stay"

"Great location. We could walk to shopping and restaurants. Small but very comfortable room. Loved the ample continental breakfast and the wine and cheese offering every afternoon. We enjoyed sitting on the porches with our morning coffee. Would definitely stay here again. loved it !!"

"We just enjoyed the best two nights here! We loved learning about the history of the Inn and the place is so well preserved. The innkeeper and chef were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was so delicious both mornings. The location was great as well. Almost everywhere we wanted to go regardless of the direction was 15-20 minutes away. "We chose Friendly City as a stopover driving from Boston to Atlanta and could not have been more delighted. The innkeeper was lovely, the room was very comfortable with everything you might need from hairdryer to iron and ironing board.
