Perfection in Crystal River

We felt right at home at the Crystal Mermaid. Great location. So pretty and private. Loved hearing the evening sounds. Great yard fir our pup. The interior of the home is modern and really lovely. The living room is so cozy for family time and our boys loved the ping pong. Kimberly has stocked the home with all your family will need. From kitchen ware to kayaks..this rental has all you need!

We enjoyed our time at Crystal River. Host is fantastic! They accommodated an early check in and gave lots of details on what to do while there. Home decor is lovely and king bed in master was very comfortable.

Great host.

I've stayed in many VRBOs, but Kim takes the medal for best host. She is interested in her guests having what they need during their stay and enjoying the Crystal River adventure. The kitchen is beautiful, and the baths have been remodeled. It is a nice, clean, basic home. We did experience some negatives, however. The living room furniture is well past its prime. We were unable to find a comfortable way to sit on the sectional sofa, which is the only seating in the living room. Also, the air vent is directly overhead when in bed in the master bedroom. Although it was closed, the air blew directly on my face when I was in bed, most annoying. An air vent deflector would prevent that problem.Crystal River is a lovely area with a quaint, charming downtown area. We enjoyed our adventures there.

Quiet, clean, modern and high-quality everything!

Kim was an amazing host that took my family in during the hurricane. The home was over stocked with all needs and super clean! The backyard is so relaxing, nice furniture, bonfire, with dedicated chairs, fenced in yard for your pets. All appliances are like brand new. The couch is the most comfiest in the world, communication was amazing, we will definitely be back!

A Haven to get away from it all!

My hubby, furry friend and I all enjoyed The Mermaid Home immensely! It is located in a quiet neighborhood, and the doggy doors and fenced-in backyard made a place for our dog to enjoy our vacation as well. The home is located at the end of a dead-end street, so extremely quiet. Kim was incredibly responsive with everything we needed. We would stay longer next time!

Perfect home

This is the second time we have stayed at this property. My husband and I love it so much. It’s located near center of town but on a quiet dead end street. The house is fenced which is great since we try to always travel with our dog. The home is impeccably clean. The bed is perfect which is rare because I have a bad back and husband does not so usually one of us is happy with the bed and the other isn’t but here that is not the case. The owner is VERY kind and accommodating. She has made a lot of upgrades and even at this visit, she continues to make improvements. You would not go wrong with this home and we will be back again.

Amazing house!

My husband and I love this home. The listing is 100% accurate. This home has everything. The location gives you a far from town feel while being close to town. This house is stocked with everything you may have forgotten. The back yard is a nice size and the fact that it’s fenced in is perfect for our dog. The house impeccably clean and beautifully decorated. The owner is incredibly nice and accommodating. We come to Crystal River often, and this is our new go to house we will want to continue to stay at.

Crystal River adventure

Our stay was wonderful. The house was in a great location. Kim went above and beyond. We had no water because a city water main broke. Not her fault. She had water delivered to us and lunch within an hour of me notifying her. So very very kind.

House is very nice and clean,dogs enjoyed the fenced yard. Equipped with everything you need. Would recommend to anyone to stay here.Thank you Kim for everything.

Perfect in every way

You can’t get any better than The Crystal Mermaid! From the moment we arrived, Kim made us feel right at home. We loved everything about our stay. The location was perfect. Close proximity to restaurants, shops and swimming with the manatees. The house has been updated and is darling. The beds were comfy, and the couch too! Plenty of activities for the kids (cornhole, table tennis, kayaks, plenty of board games). We made so many memories in our short time there and will definitely return if ever in the area.

The Crystal Mermaid was perfect

We had an excellent experience with the owner of this property, very clean, pet friendly, and in a great quiet neighborhood. Close to town and the local shops with beautiful walking trails and plenty to keep us busy. The restaurants were exceptionally good and the swim with the manatees topped it off!!!! It was a perfect get away for us and we will be planning another trip in the future!!!!!
