"Quiet, countryside property. Lovely swimming pool. Comfortable, well equipped gite. Good to have some English TV channels as well as French. The only disadvantage was that the Wi-Fi signal was poor in the first few days and then totally non-existent in the next week. There was also no phone signal so could not use internet at all for most of the time. It was about an hour’s drive to several interesting small towns, chateaux and caves. Local lake was nice for picnics and walks."

I don't think I've ever felt so 'at home' away from home and the commitment and passion to making every guest feel very welcome is obvious. My wife and I were looking for a base to stay for 11 days in the Perigord / North Dordogne to allow us to explore the area and found this fantastic "petit chateau" on the outskirts of Thiviers. A large villa in its own extensive garden with plenty of space in which to relax. William the host and Joseph the chef were very friendly, relaxed and attentive. "Lovely room in an ideal location. Easy short walk to the town for dining options. Clean, comfortable room in a beautiful garden setting with a river at the end. Feels very relaxing and is ideal for seeing the Dordogne area. Owners are lovely and very helpful with suggestions for where to visit. Breakfast on the terrace was a delight. ONE WARNING - this property does not accept credit cards, however there is an ATM nearby."

"We spent nearly 3 weeks at this wonderful rustic Gite. The Gite itself was perfect for us as a couple and a great terrace with lots of areas to sit around and read and eat. The Pool area was fantastic and we enjoyed memorable days. The location was great for all the wonderful places to see in the Dordodgne. The hosts were very accomodating.
